Choice of GHC 20 or GHC 50 controller

You can choose between two pilot controllers, the GHC 20 or the GHC 50.

Control your autopilot with the GHC 20 console. Equipped with a large 4" color display and a 170° readability, it provides you with a great reading comfort, even at a distance from the aircraft.

Thanks to its glued and anti-glare glass screen, it improves contrast in bright sunlight and also prevents the screen from fogging up.

If you want a little larger screen, touch, the ability to connect to the local network Garmin wifi opt for the GHC 50 pilot console with a 5" touch screen and a new interface fluid and design.

THE CCU: THE BRAIN OF THE REACTOR 40

The Course Computer Unit (CCU) is used to determine heading and engine speed. With its advanced 9-axis solid-state attitude and heading reference system (AHRS), it offers virtually unlimited mounting possibilities in any orientation.

At the same time, this new system significantly reduces heading errors, course deviations, steering movements and power consumption, while providing optimal sailing comfort on board.

ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT

The robust electronic control unit provides a reliable and stable power supply to the autopilot.

No autopilot spares you the setup and calibration process. Garmin knows that electronics shouldn't get in the way of getting out on the water, so we've kept this step as simple and straightforward as possible. That's the power of simplicity.

SHADOW DRIVE MODULE

Take the helm again at any time without having to reactivate your autopilot with the Shadow Drive module.

This pilot features patented Shadow Drive technology. When you operate the helm, the system deactivates the autopilot itself. You'll be able to maneuver your boat freely.

The autopilot then reactivates itself when your boat returns to a straight course.

REACTOR 40 WIRING KIT

When connected to an NMEA0183 or NMEA2000 compatible chartplotter, the Reactor autopilot will follow the programmed route or recorded course perfectly.

In addition, with a compatible Garmin plotter and the G2 Vision, G3 and G3 Vision maps, you get optional features like auto-steer, which automatically calculates the best route to your destination.

This kit includes the following items:
