Automatic submersible bilge pump
An automatic submersible bilge pump is a device designed to be immersed in the water of a boat's bilge, allowing water to be evacuated from the bilge without human intervention. Unlike a trigger pump, an automatic pump switches on every few minutes to detect whether or not water is present, and uses its electric motor to draw water from the bilge and discharge it outside the boat via a flexible or fixed hose.
