Lead Calcium Battery
-calcium lead technology starter/servo batteries are designed to offer exceptional versatility in marine applications. They combine the characteristics of starter batteries, capable of delivering high currents instantly, with those of service batteries, which can supply electrical equipment over a long period of time. This dual functionality makes them ideal for boats where space or weight limits the number of on-board batteries.

BATTERY FEATURES-calcium lead/acid batteries combine the characteristics of both starter and slow-discharge batteries. Thanks to their reinforced design, they offer instantaneous power for starting the engine, while being capable of supplying continuous energy to power the boat's electrical systems, such as lighting, refrigerators, depth finders or pumps. Lead-calcium technology gives these batteries several specific advantages. Lead-calcium alloy grids are less prone to corrosion, improving durability and overall performance. What's more, they require very little maintenance and feature low self-discharge, making them reliable even after long periods of inactivity. |
USING BATTERIESCombination starter/servo batteries are particularly useful for small and medium-sized boats, where space is limited and it can be difficult to install separate electrical systems. They are also ideal for yachtsmen looking for an economical and efficient solution to simplify on-board energy management. These batteries are particularly appreciated on boats where space or weight limits the installation of several separate batteries. They enable all electrical needs to be managed by a single unit, simplifying the electrical system. Designed to withstand moderate charging and discharging cycles, they are ideal for activities such as day trips or week-ends at sea. However, they are not suitable for intensive or prolonged use requiring deep cycling. |
