Beacons: manual and automatic activation

Emergency beacons for boats come in two main categories: manual and automatic activation.

• Manual beacons require activation by the user in the event of an emergency, offering total control over their use. They are ideal for situations where the crew is conscious and able to act.
• Automatic beacons trigger themselves when they come into contact with water, guaranteeing activation even if the crew is unable to intervene. This function is particularly useful in the event of sudden capsizing or incapacitation of crew members.

Beacon accessories
