Pressurized expansion vessel

An expansion vessel can be used in a boat water system, i.e. a water distribution system on board a boat. In this case, the expansion vessel serves to regulate the pressure in the water group and prevent leaks. A boat's water system is usually powered by a pump that delivers water from an external source, such as a cistern or garden hose, to the various points of use on board, such as taps, showers and toilets. The expansion tank can be installed in the water group to maintain a constant pressure in the system and avoid pressure variations that could cause leaks or pump performance problems. It can also be used to absorb variations in water volume in the water group, for example when water is being used or when the water level in the cistern varies.
