RAYMARINE - CP470 - The CHIRP sounder module
The CP470 from Raymarine is a ClearPulse CHIRP sounder module that lets you add CHIRP capability to your Raymarine multifunction displays, enabling you to achieve greater power than initially planned, up to 3KW depending on the sounder. The precision of this technology will enable you to reach greater depths, with a much improved level of detail.
By combining the CP470 with a specific probe (see probe category Raymarine), you'll be able to clearly identify fish with frightening accuracy, see thermoclines and clearly identify targets thanks to their specific signature. Unlike traditional graphic fishfinders that transmit on a single frequency, the CP470 Chirp transmits on each pulse over a wide spectrum of probe frequencies, for superior display resolution.

TRADITIONAL 2D CHIRP SOUNDER
The traditional sounder function uses high-frequency CHIRP coverage on a wider beam than usual, enabling optimum detection down to 500m without any problems (depending on the associated probe).
With CHIRP technology, you benefit from :
- Denser information and sharper, high-resolution images
- Better target separation and sharper rendering of fish arches
- Improved bottom tracking and detection even at high speeds

DETAIL AND CLARITY
With 10 times the resolution of ordinary sonars, the CP470 delivers sharper, more precise fish targets and automatically filters out unwanted noise.
TruZoom magnification mode reveals additional target detail without loss of resolution.

Choose Low, Medium or High CHIRP frequencies in standard or wide beam to suit your fishing preferences.
The CP470 automatically recognizes connected probes and adjusts sonar parameters to optimize performance.
