L&S - ECOPILOT 12V - SAVE YOUR ENERGY
Its action consists in briefly letting through the current required to engage the solenoid valve. The current is then significantly reduced, but is still sufficient to maintain it.
The Ecopilot plug was created to meet the need to save electrical energy on board sailing boats, an energy which is often very limited, yet essential to the operation of an autopilot system.
Thanks to this system, on average, solenoid valve consumption is reduced from 30Ah per day to 5Ah.
