IPC control system (Intelligent Power Control)

• Improves thruster reliability and safety. If the relay is blocked during operation, the thruster is automatically stopped.

Sealed gearleg

• The assembled gearleg is supplied pre-filled with oil. The propeller shaft is sealed with a ceramic/graphite mechanical seal for maximum reliability.

Twin Propeller

• The twin propeller system offers more thrust than a single propeller system with the same tunnel diameter. Sleipner has chosen this configuration for mid-range models where high thrust is required in a reduced tunnel diameter.

Q-PROP propellers

• 5-blade propellers with asymmetrical (skew) profile. These new propellers deliver a thrust gain of around 5%, while reducing noise levels.
