The IS 2.6 generator is designed for cruising. Equipped with an extremely reliable, 3000 rpm, water-cooled diesel engine, noise emissions are reduced by careful insulation of the hood and soundproofing of the exhaust system.

Particular attention has been paid to protection against external aggression, as well as to protecting the engine and electrical circuits against the risks of overloading and overheating, with the installation of a safety shutdown system in the event of malfunction.

MASE - IS 2.6 GENERATOR SET - MARINE VERSION

The generator must be installed in a room with sufficient ventilation to supply combustion air. The room must be insulated to preserve the peace and quiet of living spaces. The generator motor is cooled by an open circuit in which seawater circulates. The seawater supply circuit must be installed at the same time as the water/combustion gas discharge circuit.

BUILT TO LAST Made entirely from Marine Aluminum, it offers very high resistance to external agents, combined with an attractive design. Extremely light (only 80kg), it offers easy access to the internal premises, facilitating maintenance operations even in cramped conditions. The generator set's cooling system is provided by a heat exchanger (water/air). Its function is to reduce the temperature of the air circulating inside the soundproof box. The flow of air and water ensures efficient cooling, maintaining the optimum temperature for generator efficiency and reliability. The system has the advantage of guaranteeing the best operating conditions for the genset regardless of the temperature of the installation room.
