Small and compact, it's compatible with all lifejackets.

It also features an integrated DSC transmitter (156.525 Mhz), hand unactivated. To use this function, log on to the manufacturer's website, Ocean Signal. DSC transmission is currently only authorized in international waters.

WHAT IS AIS?

AIS is a communication system which, via a transmitter (your MOB1 beacon), transmits information to other vessels also equipped with a receiver.

Boats in the vicinity will therefore see on their AIS a specific signal sent by your beacon when it is triggered. This can be done manually, or automatically by inflating the lifejacket.

Frequency used for transmission: 161.975/162.025MHz
