HOW AVD WORKSThe extinguisher's vermiculite solution is applied as a mist to the battery to form a film at-above the fire. This film dries as the vermiculite particles bind together, producing an oxygen barrier between the fire and the air. The portable AVD extinguisher is designed to fight fires of limited size. They are ideal for use in confined spaces to smother the beginnings of flames before they develop. |
