MAST ANGLE

To correctly calculate the wind angle of a rotating mast, it is necessary to compensate for the rotation angle data provided by the wind direction sensor (MHU).

Thanks to the exposed location where it is usually mounted (at the base of the mast), it has been designed to withstand the elements, including the impact of waves.

The sensor can be supplied with a rotation pulley to rotate a mast, or a rotating arm, for use in an autopilot system. Rotation data are sent directly to the nke bus, an interface which is included.

Depending on the diameter of the secondary pulley to which the sensor is connected, a calibration coefficient can be entered.
