The entire ErgoFit collection features an exceptionally high level of construction, combined with a look and practicality suited to the marine environment and the most demanding users.
The fruit of more than five decades of experience gained on the waves, each lifejacket in the range features a unique envelope that both accelerates rotation speed and keeps the airways above water for optimum safety.
ERGOFIT 290N EX INFLATED LIFEJACKETOn contact with the water, the vest's integrated UML MK5 trigger punctures the CO2 capsule, immediately inflating the lifejacket - essential in the event of man overboard. A unique air pocket distribution allows you to rotate on your back in less than three seconds, allowing you to move your arms freely. An integrated inflatable chin strap lets you tilt your neck back and keep your airways clear, while a deployable hood protects your head and face from waves and spray On the right-hand side of the vest is the inflation system, which can be either UML MK3 or Hammar MA1 (hydrostatic), depending on the model. (The photo opposite shows the UML Mk3 system with automatic release on contact with water.) On the left-hand side of the vest, a Solas-approved flashlight and manual inflation tube in case of inflation failure via the CO2 canister In the center, 2 lifting straps so that your teammates or rescuers can easily pull you out of the water. |
