This automotive-style alternator has several advantages. Most engine manufacturers offer an option for a second alternator, often referred to as the PTO option. It's a simple, straightforward way of using an Alpha Compact as a second alternator. The original alternator can also be exchanged for an Alpha Compact to take advantage of a powerful 3-step charger connected to the MasterBus network.

MASTERVOLT - ALPHA COMPACT 24V/85A VP ALTERNATOR WITH MULTI-GROOVE PULLEY

The Alpha Compact 24V/110A VP alternator features a multi-groove pulley as standard, unlike the 24V/110A model. In particular, this pulley can drive several accessories simultaneously and supply them with power. By distributing the load over several grooves, it also serves to reduce the stress exerted on the alternator, helping to reduce component wear.

This automotive-style alternator has several advantages. Most engine manufacturers offer an option for a second alternator, often called a power take-off option. It's a simple, straightforward way of using an Alpha Compact as a second alternator. The original alternator can also be replaced by an Alpha Compact to benefit from a powerful 3-step charger connected to the MasterBus network.
