GARMIN - COMPACT CLASS B LINEAR ACTUATOR - POWERFUL AND COMPACT

The V2 compact linear actuator from Garmin complements the GHP 40 autopilot, which is supplied without a power unit. The GHP 40 has no power unit, for the simple reason that it depends entirely on your boat. Your choice of linear actuator will therefore depend on the weight of your boat. The Type 2 compact linear actuator from Garmin can be used for sailboats up to 24 tons.

RUDDER ANGLE SENSOR

It incorporates a rudder angle sensor to display your rudder position on the autopilot controller, allowing you to:

  • Know your rudder position without having to turn around
  • Ensure smooth maneuvers and avoid "overcompensation
  • Avoid excessive wear or damage to the actuator when it reaches its limit stop.


CYLINDER DIMENSIONS

  • 1 : Radius of rotation (360°)
  • 2 : Cylinder stroke (254 mm)
  • 3 : Distance from center of mounting foot to bar bolt when rod fully retracted (446.5 mm)
  • 4 : Distance from center of mounting foot to bar bolt when bar is centered (573.5 mm)
  • 5 : Distance from center of mounting foot to bar bolt when rod fully extended (700.5 mm)
  • 6 : Maximum angle of inclination of cylinder at end of stroke. Exceeding this angle may damage the power unit. (10° above or below center)
  • 7 : Distance from center ofcylinder rod to base of cylinder at rest (64 mm)

  • 1 : Distance from center ofcylinder mounting foot to bar bolt when bar is centered (575.8 mm)
  • 2 : Stroke angle from center position to installed physical stops (35°)
  • 3 : Distance from center ofcylinder mounting foot to relative position of bar bit (174.7 mm)
  • 4 : Distance from center of bar bolt to bar bit (213 mm )
