Standard Horizon's HX890E is an ultra-high-performance portable VHF with built-in GPS, enabling you to communicate quickly on any channel. With a large display (one of the largest on the market) and simple keys, it's a reliable and complete VHF. New features include a 4-code scrambling system for secure communications on the water. It also includes a built-in Broacast FM band receiver, so you can relax and listen to the radio.
The HX890E VHF is waterproof (IPX8) and buoyant. When it falls into the water, a luminous light activates automatically, so you won't risk losing it.

In fact, Standard Horizon's VHF HX890E has a built-in WAAS GPS receiver with 66 channels that will enable you to make DSC distress calls by transmitting distress information such as GPS position.. What's more, with Standard Horizon's HX890E integrated GPS antenna, all navigation data is available on a large backlit LCD display. The built-in GPS can be used for navigation: it records waypoints (200) and 20 routes. The little extra of the HX890E is the fact that it is luminescent, for total visibility in the middle of the night. |
