ICOM - MA510TR - TAKE TO THE SEA IN SAFETY
The MA510TR offers many advantages, including simultaneous dual reception of AIS channels, enhanced safety with CPA and TCPA functions, and the option of connecting to an external alarm. The MA510TR's DSC button enables automatic individual calling from the VHF to a selected vessel.
The MA510TR transponder features a large 4.3" color screen for real-time display of vessel traffic information. A [MOB] button creates a waypoint at the current position. When the MA-510TR receives a safety message from a Class A transponder, an icon appears on the display. The memory can store up to 20 DSC messages.
AIS CLASS B TRANSCEIVERThis device transmits your boat's data and simultaneously receives signals from the transmitters of other boats in the vicinity. It transmits at regular intervals: MMSI identification, boat name, flag, type, GPS antenna position, boat position, SOG (speed over ground), COG (course over ground), UTC date and time, GPS antenna type and accuracy. The MA510TR is equipped with a "stealth mode" function that allows you to momentarily stop transmitting so that you can no longer be seen by everyone, while still being able to see others.
When connected to a VHF Icom IC-M330E, IC-M330GE, IC-M323G, IC-M423G, IC-M400BB, IC-M506GE, IC-M605EURO, it enables individual DSC calls to be made to selected vessels. |

AIS ANTENNA SPLITTER (PACK VERSION)The AIS antenna splitter lets you use the same antenna for both your VHF and your MA-510TR AIS transponder from Icom. The AIS system operates on 2 channels. An antenna can only transmit one signal at a time. So it's either AIS or VHF that uses the antenna. Not both at the same time. To obtain 2 outputs on your antenna, you need to install an antenna splitter that will split it. In this way, your transponder will be able to transmit both AIS and VHF on the same antenna. |
