With the Nomad 2 , you'll be able to receive real-time AIS targets and GPS data from your navigation applications and software.

This compact, portable Class B transponder will also transmit your position to other AIS users .

Nomad integrates a USB solution for powering from any USB source.

The GPS is integrated into the case and comes with a compact 20 cm GV30 external VHF/GPS antenna. It can also be connected to any VHF antenna.

Its built-in Wi-Fi interface provides GPS and AIS location information . It is designed for use with an iPad, tablet, phone or computer, in conjunction with a wide variety of compatible mapping applications such as NavionicstZ iBoat, NavLINK, Weather 4D, AquaMap, Imray, SailGrib and many more.

INTEGRATED WEB INTERFACE

To simplify operation and set-up, the Nomad 2 Digital Yacht AIS transponder features an integrated web interface. It can be configured from a computer, tablet or even a smartphone, without the need to install software or programming applications.

Nomad 2 can be configured via its dedicated web interface, and no internet connection is required . Simply open your web browser (Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla, etc.), enter the iAISTX's IP address (always 192.168.1.1), and you can adjust the vessel's parameters such as MMSI number, boat name and so on.

What's more, you can configure the Wi-Fi network and password, and even integrate the AIS Wi-Fi with an existing onboard network. What's more, AIS transmission can be stopped directly from the web interface.

Finally, the Nomad 2 transponder supports TCP and UDP network protocols to ensure optimum compatibility with a variety of applications .
