The Camino 108 from AMEC is a Class B AIS transponder with a VHF antenna splitter. This transceiver lets you see, and be seen by, nearby AIS-equipped boats.

AMEC - CAMINO C108 - RELIABLE DATA AIS

The Camino 108 is designed to provide high-performance data transmission AIS. Thanks to this small, robust unit, your data will be transmitted to other vessels equipped with AIS devices; and you will receive their data by displaying them on a plotter or PC. This AIS is the easiest way to reduce the risk of collision at sea.

The two-channel receiver tracks all vessels equipped with AIS class A or B, AtoN beacons and SARTs. Integration with the onboard navigation system is via NMEA0183 4800/38400baud, NMEA2000, and USB ports for PC connection. Data AIS can be easily stored using the built-in SD card reader.

GPS ANTENNA PA-02

This is a passive GPS antenna for Camino transponders. The antenna is equipped with a 3-meter-long RG174 connection cable and a TNC connector.

The antenna is designed for applications requiring high GPS accuracy and fast positioning. The housing is robust and waterproof to IP65.

To improve GPS reception, you can install a GA22 external GPS antenna.

SIMPLER WITH THE DUPLEXER

Thanks to the optional AIS duplexer, there's no need to install a new antenna. Your boat's VHF antenna can now act as a AIS transceiver as well as an FM radio.

You can reduce power losses and make full use of your radio and AIS at the same time. This splitter is optimized to reduce power loss.
