The VX3 1500W electric windlass offers low noise levels, appreciable lightness and compatibility with mixed or integral chain mooring.

The VX3 is supplied with a 1500 W, 12 V gearmotor, no headstock and a 6 mm spool.

The VX3 windlasses feature worm gear motor technology combining metal and composite. They also feature a mixed stainless steel chain-and-rope sprocket which is 15% lighter and more resistant than other sprockets.

They also feature a helical-wheel gearbox for extra strength.

The VX range is the result of a Lewmar development program that makes these windlasses lighter, stronger and more efficient than other products on the market.

They also feature a pre-installed chain counter and manual clutch.

The IP67-rated gearmotor withstands marine conditions, and the relay is directly integrated. What's more, installation of the windlass is facilitated by the motor 's flexible orientation.
