ICOM - IC-M37E - 6W FLOATING VHF
The IC-M37 is equipped with a "Booster" function: press the "LOUD" button briefly to immediately obtain maximum listening volume. Press again to return to the original volume. A 2nd microphone on the rear of the unit picks up ambient noise and subtracts it from the signal from the main microphone. What's more, in noisy environments (engine room, engine, etc.), the differential microphone detects ambient noise and automatically increases the volume.
The IC-M37 offers 6 W transmit power and 700 mW audio power, with a battery life of one day's use. This VHF is equipped with a new battery featuring a device that considerably reduces the risk of electrolysis (new version).
