NASA - NAVTEX PRO RECEIVER - NAVTEX MESSAGES ON LCD DISPLAY

With its dual-frequency NAVTEX Series 2 antenna, this receiver features an LCD screen that lets you read NAVTEX messages on 8 lines. Easy to use, the display features "up" and "down" buttons so you can read messages line by line.

Navtex Pro Plus from Nasa Marine is an international maritime safety information broadcasting system under the GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System). Reception is by radio on the dual-frequency Navtex, on 490kHz (in the language of the country near which you are sailing) and 518 kHz (in English only).

The NAVTEX receiver features a backlit LCD display for enhanced readability. It provides 8 lines of weather information. You can easily scroll through NAVTEX messages using the "UP" and "DOWN" keys.

The receiver is programmable and you can set the desired transmitting stations.

It comes with a NAVTEX series 2 antenna for 2-channel receivers and a cable for you to plug it in.
