RESCUEME PLB1RescueME PLB1 works with the world's only officially recognized, dedicated search and rescue satellite network (operated by Cospas Sarsat). As this is government-funded, there is no charge to use this service. Once activated, the rescueME PLB1 transmits your position and ID to a rescue coordination center via satellite link. The rescue services nearest to you are immediately informed of your emergency and your current position to help you carry out a rapid rescue. |
