The 12/24V coupling box enables you to power the Side-Power electric bow thruster of the SE range (SE120 / SE130 / SE150 / SE170) on a 12V-equipped boat. An additional battery bank of at least 500 CCA DIN for SE170 is required.

This switch box therefore enables 24V thrusters to be installed in boats with a 12V system . With an additional 12V battery, you provide 24V for thruster operation, while all batteries are charged by your normal 12V system when the thruster is not running.
