In 1909, Arthur Haineaux founded the Arthur Haineaux & cie foundry in Revin, France, to manufacture cast-iron stoves and stoves. With the outbreak of war, the factory moved to Niort, Deux-Sèvres, in 1916 with the purchase of a foundry to which Arthur Haineaux gave immediate impetus. The ENO trademark was registered in 1927, and the company expanded rapidly with exports. Today, the company designs and manufactures outdoor planchas and stoves for pleasure boats. A world leader in the marine sector since 2006, ENO is now the benchmark for top-of-the-range cast-iron planchas.
