Tacktickestablished in 1996 and based in Havant, Hampshire, UK, develops and manufactures solar-powered wireless instruments for the marine market. This development represents an exciting opportunity for Raymarine and Tacktick in the global sailboat market. Currently available through the usual channels, Tacktick equipment complements the Raymarine product range and will eventually be distributed as a product line by Raymarine subsidiaries, distributors and service resellers worldwide. Tacktick customers will also benefit from Raymarine's marine services network. Tacktick is the world leader in solar-powered wireless electronics for the marine industry. Founded in 1996 by Managing Directors Clive and Mark Johnson, years of extensive research and development, together with customer feedback, led to the development of the world's first wireless networking electronics system, Micronet, in 2003.
Tacktick offers a range of wireless electronics for dinghies, racing boats, cruisers and powerboats. The world's top sailors have been sailing with Tacktick instruments since 1997.
