Osculati - Vérin supplémentaire EM
This Osculati 12V replacement cylinder is very easy to install, thanks to its standard mountings (the mountings can be interchanged with the Bennett cylinders). It can be adapted to most existing systems, ensuring greater on-board stability.
This universal 12V actuator can be installed on a Maxi Series Flap (non-exhaustive list) :
Delivered here alone (for a single Flap), you can also opt for the pack comprising two 12V electromagnetic universal cylinders and a control panel.

Universal cylinder for flap
The Osculati replacement cylinder is the perfect accessory for restoring or improving your boat's performance. Installation is quick and easy.
With no hydraulic circuit, its mechanism is enclosed in a nylon and fiberglass cylinder. A small electric motor drives a series of worm gears, powering the polished stainless steel cylinder.
This 12V-powered electric cylinder will easily connect in parallel to an existing circuit on a 12V control panel for your stabilization system.

HOW DO FLAPS WORK?
Firstly, to use a Flaps kit, you'll need a waterproof Flaps control panel switch (sold separately).
The hinged cylinder allows you to lower the stabilizer plate (stainless steel shovel sold separately) by pressing the control button on the switch.
The Flaps can be tilted separately to correct heeling in swell conditions, for example, and at the same time to correct trim when sailing and prevent the boat's nose from rising or consuming more fuel than necessary.
Flaps provide a perfect power/consumption/boat speed ratio.
