Designed in stainless steel with full-width reinforced fastenings for incredible rigidity, generally appreciated on longer boats.

These Douglas Marine Maxi Series Flaps are compatible with the following cylinders or complete kits (non-exhaustive list):


	Maxi Series Flaps features Douglas Marine Maxi Series flaps are 2.5 mm thick. They feature a special hinge with full articulation. Regardless of the type of cylinder used, the Flap can pivot freely through 180° without effort or breakage. These Douglas Marine Flaps provide excellent stability for the boat, while enabling rapid planing and improved trim when sailing. The fuel savings achieved with this type of boat equipment are significant. HOW DO FLAPS WORK? Firstly, to use a Flaps kit, you'll need a waterproof Flaps control panel switch (sold separately). The articulated actuator (sold separately) allows you to lower the stabilizer plate (stainless steel shovel) by pressing the control button on the switch. The Flaps can be tilted separately to correct heeling in swell conditions, for example, and at the same time to correct trim when sailing and prevent the boat's nose from rising or consuming more fuel than necessary.
