The ePropulsion Smart Gateway RS-485 to N2K (NMEA2000) is a gateway designed to transmit information from your Evo motor to a multifunction display via the NMEA 2000 network. It monitors key system data (state of charge, voltage, engine speed, battery temperature and SOG) and makes them available to your on-board electronics.
Compact and easy to integrate, it sits on the RS-485 ePropulsion network and connects to the NMEA 2000 backbone via its CAN interface. It features 3 RS-485 ports and one NMEA 2000 CAN port, with power supplied by the NMEA 2000 network.

Gateway between RS-485 and NMEA 2000The Smart Gateway reads information from the propulsion system on the RS-485 bus, then transmits it on the CAN bus of the NMEA 2000 network. This means you can view useful data directly on your on-board screen, without having to multiply screens and boxes.
It is designed for EVO ePropulsion installations and integrates into the NMEA 2000 network like conventional on-board equipment, for consistent reading of information during navigation. |
