The C8 control cable connects the control box to the boat's motor or inverter . It is used to control the boat's acceleration or clutch , as well as the direction of propeller rotation.

The C5 control box cable has a stroke of 87 mm (3.4"), a 10-32 UNF (4.83 mm) ferrule and a diameter of 8.5 mm , and is suitable for boats with inboard , sterndrive or outboard motors and appropriate accessories .

It is available in twenty different lengths, from 2.13 m to 8.53 m.
