Adjustable ventilation system for boats or converted vehicles

The Plastimo profiled dorade box provides continuous, adjustable ventilation. It features an adjustable opening and closing system to regulate the desired flow of incoming air.

This profiled aerator from Plastimo also features a manual closing system that prevents water from entering the boat cabin in the event of heavy rain or a sea package.

It is also advisable, when installing on a converted van or motor home, to close the Plastimo profiled dorade box when driving during heavy rain.

The diagram opposite explains how it works:

• 1 - The flap is open and the cabin is ventilated
• 2 - In the event of heavy rain or sea breezes, the flap is closed from inside the cab
• 3 - When the flap is closed, water drains from the profiled dorade

A solid profiled dorade box for passive ventilation

For better aeration and ventilation of your cabin, you can place two Plastimo profiled dorade boxes on the deck or roof of your converted vehicle.

The first should be installed on the front of the ship's deck or on the roof of the van, allowing air to enter. Then place a second one at the rear, or just a little further back, to let the air out.
