Domino locking system

Instead of crushing the sheath, the Lewmar domino system holds the string in place for better grip and reduced friction. As a result, the line works cleanly and remains more durable, even when tension rises.

The patented controlled opening mechanism makes it possible to control the opening of the blocker, even under maximum load. The handle remains firmly attached to the domino mechanism for clean, precise control.

Loads, dimensions and deck mounting

The DC2 double for ropes ⌀ 8-10 mm offers a holding load of 500 kg and a working load limit of 1200 kg, for a weight of around 1.2 kg. Its compact size makes it easy to integrate on deck or near the cockpit.

For a clean installation, respect the rope entry and exit angle: it must not exceed 15° from the center of the blocker. Fastening recommended with M6 flat-head screws, not to exceed 22 Nm.
