This cable is to be used to connect a non-resistive rudder angle sensor, other than the Garmin GRF10, to the Garmin GHP12 / GHP Reactor 40 Refit autopilot system.
So, for example, you can keep your rudder angle sensor from your old Raymarine autopilot and connect it to the new, compatible Garmin autopilot using this adapter cable.
