The Secop 101N0390 electronic control unit plays a crucial role in the control, protection and efficient operation of Danfoss BD80F compressors in a variety of refrigeration and air-conditioning applications, offering advanced control functionality and fault protection.

It replaces the old Secop 101N0290 box, and can also be used in air-conditioning systems or similar applications on your boat, as long as it is used with either a Danfoss BD80F, BD100CN or BD250GH compressor.2

ESSENTIAL FOR REFRIGERATION

The Secop 101N0390 electronic control unit is an integral part of the Danfoss BD80F compressor control and protection system:

Compressor speed control : adjusts compressor speed to optimize cooling performance as needed
Thermostat control : manages the thermostat, which can be either an on/off switch or an electronic thermostat with NTC temperature sensor
Eco function : features an eco function to optimize compressor speed to minimize energy consumption
Battery protection : includes battery protection to prevent excessive discharge when used on limited power sources such as boat batteries

This box is therefore essential for the proper operation and energy efficiency of on-board refrigeration systems. It ensures that the compressor operates at optimum levels, while protecting the system against voltage variations and reducing energy consumption .
