ESSENTIAL CHILLER COMPONENTS

For a chiller to work, it needs three essential components: the evaporator (not supplied) , the thermostat (not supplied) and the compressor .

In the case of the CU-54 compressor, the following Dometic units are compatible with a chiller:

• VD-02 flat evaporator
• L" evaporator VD-01
• O" evaporator VD-07

RELIABLE, HIGH-QUALITY COMPRESSOR

The CU-54 compressor consists of three components:

• The compressor itself, charged with refrigerant gas generally R134a . When the CU-54 compressor is running, the gas is compressed, increasing its temperature and pressure.
• The Secop electronic box controls speed, power and, above all, automatically switches off the compressor when battery voltage falls below 10.4 for 12V and 22.8 for 24V .
• The fan removes the heat absorbed in the evaporator by the refrigerant in the chiller

It also has quick-release screw connections to the evaporator.

It's also mounted on a stainless steel plate which allows it to be fixed even in an inclined position, but above all reduces noise when in use.
