	EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY The CU-55 refrigeration unit consists of three components: a Danfoss compressor, a VD-07 "O" evaporator and a thermostat . In the event of low voltage, the system switches off immediately. The O-evaporator can be installed either vertically or horizontally. Installation is child's play, simply connect the compressor to a 12/24V power source such as a battery or even directly to a solar panel, then connect the evaporator using the hoses directly to the Danfoss BD35 F compressor. You can set the temperature using the supplied thermostat, which can be positioned either inside or outside the cooler, depending on your needs. An automatic defrost function is also integrated, to prevent frost from forming on the evaporator.

SIMPLE COOLING SYSTEM The CU-55 cooling unit is specifically designed to be cooled by ambient air. Here's how the system works: A fan draws in ambient air through grilles on the compressor The air passes through a heat exchanger and cools the gaseous refrigerant R134a in the compressor, which is then compressed The refrigerant circulates through a condenser, releasing its heat into the ambient air . This condenses the refrigerant into a high-pressure liquid The refrigerant passes through an expansion valve where its pressure drops, cooling its temperature. It then becomes a very cold, low-pressure mixture of liquid and gas This mixture circulates through the evaporator , which absorbs heat from the compartment, cooling the space. As it absorbs heat, the refrigerant evaporates, reverting to a low-pressure gas The cycle starts again when the compressor draws in the gaseous refrigerant
