This increases its pressure and temperature The refrigerant circulates through a condenser, releasing its heat into the seawater previously drawn in . The refrigerant changes from a gas to a liquid. It then becomes a very cold, low-pressure mixture of liquid and gas This mixture circulates through the evaporator , which absorbs heat from the compartment, cooling the space.
