ESSENTIAL CHILLER COMPONENTS

For a chiller to work, it needs three essential components: the evaporator (not supplied) , the thermostat (not supplied) and the compressor .

In the case of the CU-94 compressor, the following evaporators are compatible with Dometic to create a chiller unit capable of cooling up to 400 liters or freezing up to 200 liters :

• VD-14 N ventilated evaporator
• VD-16 ventilated evaporator for freezing
• VD-21 flat evaporator

RELIABLE, HIGH-QUALITY COMPRESSOR

The CU-94 compressor consists of three components:

• The compressor itself, charged with refrigerant gas, usually R134a.
• The Secop electronic control unit , which controls speed and power and, above all, automatically switches off the compressor when battery voltage falls below 10.4 for 12V and 22.8 for 24V.
• The fan removes the heat absorbed in the evaporator by the refrigerant in the chiller

It also has quick-release screw connections to the evaporator.

It is also mounted on a stainless-steel plate, allowing it to be secured even in an inclined position, but above all to reduce noise when in use.

The CU-94 Dometic compressor features AEO (Adaptative Energy Optimiser). This option enables power to be regulated by automatic speed adaptation . This saves energy and protects the battery, while reducing compressor start-ups to a minimum, thus extending system life .
