OP12 SIMRAD: a second control station
The OP12 wired remote control works perfectly with Simrad autopilot systems, providing intuitive mode control, trajectory adjustment and power steering. It can also be used as a dedicated autopilot keypad for NSS and NSO multifunction displays.
INTUITIVE OPERATIONThanks to its simple push-button interface, the OP12 is easy to use in bad weather, even if your hands are wet or you're wearing gloves. Dedicated "Auto" and "Standby" buttons enable you to activate or deactivate the autopilot at the touch of a finger. So you can easily let go of the rudder or take manual control of the boat if the need arises. The "Mode" button activates driftless steering or navigation to the current waypoint on your Simrad chartplotter. The "1" and "10" buttons allow you to adjust the course in multiples of one or ten degrees. The shape of the buttons helps you distinguish by touch between the one-degree and ten-degree options. So there's no risk of error, even in poor visibility. |

EASY INSTALLATIONThe OP12 is easy to install, and connects via a single cable (NMEA 2000®) for power and data. Multiple keyboards can be installed to control the autopilot from anywhere, making it ideal for boats with two helm stations. |
|
COUPLING WITH IS42 DISPLAY (NOT INCLUDED)Couple the Simrad OP12 keypad with an IS42 color instrument display to create a fully functional control console for your compatible Simrad autopilot. Take advantage of Simrad Continuum autopilot technology to follow a predefined course; stay on course despite wind and tide with driftless steering; fish or cruise stress-free with automated turn templates and sounding line tracking. |
