The Sleipner Side-Power SE30/125S2 electric bow thruster is a compact thruster designed to fit a tunnel only 125 mm in diameter. The SE30 thruster is suitable for vessels from 6 to 8 m and features 30 to 40 kg of thrust.

IPC control system (Intelligent Power Control)

  • Improves thruster reliability and safety. If the relay is blocked during operation, the thruster is automatically stopped.

Sealed gearleg

  • The assembled gearleg is supplied pre-filled with oil. The propeller shaft is sealed with a ceramic/graphite mechanical seal for maximum reliability.

S Single: Single propeller

  • A properly designed single-propeller system is the most efficient in terms of output. Its compact shape adapts easily to a narrow bow.

Q-PROP: 5-blade propeller

  • 5-blade propeller with asymmetrical (skew) profile. These new propellers deliver a thrust gain of around 5%, while reducing noise levels.
