4 ANTENNA DESIGN

Traditionally, a Satellite Compass calculates heading using a baseline between two antennas; the four SCX21 antennas can calculate heading information using one of six baselines drawn between the 4 antennas.

The unprecedented design of its 4 antennas makes the SCX21 capable of calculating extremely accurate heading, pitch, roll and swell information.

It's the perfect heading solution for complex ship installations where the view of satellites can sometimes be obstructed.

Improved accuracy when the SCX21 is connected to your Furuno radar, helping to determine your own vessel's movement as well as the movement of others.

Accurate speed and heading data ensure that targets are displayed smoothly and accurately, without the jagged, zigzag appearance common to compasses with a higher degree of deviation.
