PG700 FURUNO: The high-precision minigyro compass
The PG700 from Furuno is a high-precision electronic mini gyrocompass. It features a built-in NMEA2000 CAn interface that shares numerous signals and data via a simple central bus cable. Simply connect Bus-compatible devices Can to the central bus to extend the on-board network. With CAN bus, IDs are assigned to all devices, and it is possible to detect the status of each sensor in the network.
The PG700 from Furuno is used as a heading reference for various applications where precision and stability are required, particularly in the ARPA functions of radars or autopilots.
The PG700 also enables radar/mapping overlay on the NavNet range with unrivalled accuracy.
Installation of the GP700 from Furuno is easy, either on the floor or on a bulkhead thanks to the L-shaped bracket.
