ACR - AISLINK - THE PERSONAL MAN OVERBOARD BEACON
The AISLink beacon features a stromboscopic flashing light that activates automatically. Thanks to advanced LED technology, the AISLink beacon enables you to be seen from a distance and send a distress signal to all nearby boats via the AIS system. It has a life of 7 years and its battery lasts up to 24 hours.
MOB POSITION, AIS AND FLASH LIGHTThe AISLink sends an alert message within seconds to all local vessels equipped with an AIS receiver . The flashing light activates automatically, making it easier to find at night. In addition, the DSC alarm on the VHF radio of other vessels can also be signaled to inform first responders of what's happening. The beacon activates automatically when the vest is inflated, and sends its signal within 15 seconds. The MOB position is transmitted up to 8 kilometers away. The GPS integrated into the AISLink beacon gives a precise position of the castaway. |
