McMurdo's Fastfind 220 is a very compact personal emergency beacon with integrated GPS and manual activation. Equipped with a flash light and a floating holster, it is the most powerful beacon available, with location accuracy to 3 meters RMS.

The Fastfind 220 is a beacon that can be used at sea, but also on land when hiking, trekking, etc. Thanks to its holster, Fastfind 220 is completely waterproof and buoyant, up to 10 meters. Equipped with a 6-year lithium battery, Fastfind 220 has a continuous operating time of 24 hours.


	FASTFIND 220 After reporting your departure and destination on the dedicated website, Fastfind 220 will transmit your personal identifier and GPS position to the Cospas-Sarsat global distress system. Rescuers will be regularly informed of your position and will be able to pinpoint your exact location. The Fastfind 220 is equipped with an integrated 72-channel GNSS GPS (GPS+Galileo) for exceptional location accuracy of 3 meters RMS and a position updated every 20 minutes. What's more, it's equipped with SOS flash light, making it easier for emergency services to locate you. This distress beacon operates on the international Cospas-Sarsat satellite system.

MEOSAR COMPATIBLE The MEOSAR Medium Earth Orbit Search and Rescue System is an advanced new-generation satellite based on technology that revolutionizes Cospas-Sarsat. The aim is to determine the location of the beacon within a 5 km radius in less than 10 minutes, thanks to 72 MEOSAR satellites positioned at medium earth orbital altitude.
