The GPS receiver incorporates enhanced noise suppression capabilities, offering an anti-jamming function as well as a high level of tolerance to multipath attenuation. The GP170 has a position update rate of 10 Hz (updating the position every 0.1 second), enabling constant tracking of your vessel's position.
The GP170 uses dual configuration for backup purposes to ensure system availability. Information on waypoints, routes and other data defined by the operators of one unit can be shared with the other unit for functional backup.

COMPLETE SYSTEM
The BAM (Bridge Alert Management) system centralizes alerts on the bridge up to the navigator's range, as required. The operator can navigate through the menu tree by pressing the arrow key, or by pressing the corresponding digits on the numeric keypad, to reach the menu items. The GP170 offers a variety of display modes, including plotter, route, course and data display. Increased accuracy through the use of SBAS (satellite-based augmentation system) and DGPS (an optional DGPS beacon receiver and GPA-021S antenna are required). |
