This VHF comes with a host of features, including a wifi connection. You'll be able to control it remotely via a wifi-enabled smartphone, which acts as the microphone.

Controlled via WiFi by a smartphone, the IC-M510E EVO VHF can be connected to up to three devices via the RS-M500 mobile app.

You can then use your smartphone as a handset for transmitting or intercom, and the person controlling the VHF takes precedence over all the others.

An optional HM-195 remote station, for example, can replace a smartphone for the flybridge or outside cockpit.

IC-M510E EVO: INTEGRATED GPS FUNCTION

The ICOM VHF integrates a GPS function with a GNSS receiver: navigation functions guide you to a precise waypoint. You can define up to 100 waypoints (favorite destinations, coves, fishing spots, etc.)

In an emergency, simply press the "DISTRESS" button and the integrated DSC (Digital Selective Calling ) system will digitally transmit distress information to the coastguard and/or other vessels.

The DSC watch function continuously monitors the DSC channel (Ch. 70) for added safety.

It features a TFT LCD color display with a viewing angle of almost 180 degrees. The large screen features high-resolution characters and function icons.

Simply hold down the DISP button to switch to night mode , ensuring good readability in low-light conditions.

With its IP68 waterproof rating, it won't be affected by sea bumps, sea spray, bad weather..
