NAVICOM - RT950 - The fixed VHF with integrated GPS

The RT950 VHF from Navicom integrates several essential functions in a single device: standard VHF communication, digital selective calling (DSC/ASN), as well as dual and triple watch modes.

Thanks to its large backlit LCD display, it offers excellent visibility in all navigation conditions. This radio can be used for conventional VHF dialogue, or to contact a specific vessel directly via its MMSI number. It also features an audible and visual alert in the event of a priority call.

The RT950 handles all the main maritime communication operations: it can communicate between vessels, automatically transmit a distress message with vessel identification, and receive acknowledgements from stations receiving the call.


	VHF RT950, a high-performance VHF Safety is further enhanced by a direct "man overboard" command, enabling critical alerts to be triggered immediately in the event of an emergency. It also supports international and U.S. channels, as well as private channels, offering customized global compatibility. These features are particularly useful with DSC (Digital Selective Calling), which enables a distress message to be sent automatically on a dedicated emergency channel.

AN INTELLIGENT HANDSET The RT950's intelligent remote handset provides rapid access to priority channels 9 and 16, ensuring smoother, safer navigation. Transmitter power can also be adjusted on the fly, from 1W to 25W, depending on your communication needs. To optimize positioning accuracy, the device can be fitted with an external GPS antenna, enhancing reception quality.
