Use the Ray91's position tracking function to follow up to 5 DSC-equipped vessels in your vicinity. Their position is automatically displayed on your compatible screen. In Europe, the Ray91 supports ATIS on inland waterways.

Finally, the VHF features a high-quality megaphone function for clear communication on deck and in port. You can also set the optional megaphone to automatically transmit fog signals. These are sound signals, each with a unique warning function. To take advantage of this function, add the optional M95435 external megaphone speaker.

AIS FUNCTION The VHF is equipped with an automatic identification system (AIS) receiver. It can receive safety and navigation bulletins from nearby AIS-equipped vessels and share them on NMEA2000 or NMEA0183 compatible multifunction displays. AIS-equipped vessels can be easily identified, along with their name, course, speed, CPA and other route information.

THE PASSIVE LOUDSPEAKER The passive loudspeaker delivers exceptionally clear sound. It is ideal for low-noise areas such as the wheelhouse, lounges and cabins. The loudspeaker comes in a compact, sturdy and waterproof enclosure. It can be mounted on any bulkhead or overhead, horizontally or vertically, and connects directly to the base of the corded handset.
