The Jabsco Maxi Puppy 3000 12V 45 L/min bilge pump is a continuous-duty, high-flow electric motor pump. It is designed on the principle of pumps with a flexible elastomer impeller that accepts the occasional passage of foreign bodies. It can be used in a variety of configurations:
- Leisure boat equipment (deck washing, bilge emptying, showers, ballast transfer, etc.)
- Water supply (caravan, camper, van, animal transport, etc.)
- Wastewater evacuation on board transport vehicles
- Water evacuation from refrigeration tanks

This pump is designed with a bronze body and flexible impeller with a nitrile/carbon/ceramic mechanical seal, coupled to a 12-volt DC motor. The nitrile impeller supplied with the pump is recommended for liquid temperatures between 10 and 82.2 C° degrees.
Do not restrict the inlet piping, as this flexible impeller pump can handle solids, and strainers are not generally recommended. Hard and soft solids should be no problem for the pump if their size is less than about 6-7 mm.
The Maxi Puppy 3000 bilge pump from Jabsco is designed to be powered by fully-charged batteries or another DC supply with adequate amperage.
