Data sheet
The Air 2D Autoterm 12V forced-air heater is suitable for sailboats and larger motorboats up to 10 meters in length, and for heating up to 86m³/h. It is supplied in kit form, with everything needed for installation (apart from the analog or digital control panel, which is essential for operation).
Diesel-powered, it is capable of operating and maintaining a comfortable temperature even in extremely cold conditions. It's an attractive option for people looking for an affordable alternative to more expensive heating systems without sacrificing quality or performance.
HOW AN AIR HEATER WORKSCombustion air from the environment and fuel from the tank are mixed and burned in the combustion chamber. The thermal energy heats fresh air to warm the interior of your boat. The heater operates independently of your engine, so you can warm up your cabin without having to start your engine. This is ideal when your boat is docked, as well as for long periods of time. |

CONTROL AND SAFETYThe Air 2D heater is equipped with numerous safety systems that automatically shut down the unit in the event of a problem. No maintenance is required, but to prolong the life of the heater, we recommend running it at full power for at least half an-hour every one to two weeks. This brings the combustion chamber up to its maximum temperature to burn off residues and maintain optimum performance. The system features advanced electronic management to optimize burner and fan operation for maximum efficiency and minimum energy consumption. |
